I fell in love with Raquel Allegra a bit ago. She has a fondness for distressed and soft tees. You can purchase them at Shopflick where they have a bio on her and how she came to create these T’s.
There have been a few of my favorite bloggers out there who have also taken things into their own hands and shredded. Childhood Flames has a great tutorial and a little video she created. Maison des Rêveries also has a great post of her diy.

So, i have started shredding my own T and I’m happy with how its turning out. I used an AA T-shirt dress in white. I will post pics as soon as I finish. Love saving $700. I want to try this with a scarf too.

Read this blog about the celebu-craze to be thin. Christa’s post talks about the sudden weight loss that often accompanies the red-carpet walkers and Hollywood scene in general. She talks about the abuse of prescription drugs to keep ones self fitting into a size zero, specifically Rachel Zoe and Keira Knightley.

I know its a problem and I know how fragile teenagers are and how media has corrupted the image of the ideal body and what we see as beautiful. But goddamit, I would trade my left breast to be back into my size zeros! And yes, I said zero. No drugs, no starving. Just some yoga and walking/jogging. Guess I could chalk it up to genetics for making me 5’1″ and a few crumbs.

I have to tell you guys about this blog, Pacing the Panic Room. Its precious. This dude is married to this gorgeously pregnant woman and he blogs about his life, the baby, his step child, and takes weekly pics of his wife thru her pregnancy and finishes it off with a note to the bambino.
The guy knocks my socks off. I love his photography and his just reading his thoughts. His wife, Cole, also wears a lot of America Apparel which is so great for basics. But she would look good in anything. I swear! Check out LB, Cole’s first bambino. How much do you wanna squeeze him, he’s so cute!!
I wish I would have done this with my pregs but didnt know enough the first time and too disgusted with my body the second.

Holy Shit. I actually got a chance to watch some tv this weekend and stumbled upon Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York City. Those chicks are unreal. I had caught the first episodes so I knew the basis of who’s who and why. The latest addition to the show is Kelly. She is devastatingly beautiful but once she starts talking….wow, can anyone be more arrogant and yet insecure? The best part is Kelly asking Bethany for a “sit-down” to tell her off, and showing up 30 minutes late. Bethany comes out on top (cause she is great and I just like her) and Kelly looks like a shit-stick.
Of course the drama is high and there is fight after fight about…well…nothing important really! But it’s really entertaining.

Simon and his wife are remodeling the condo and Jill is just appalled at how they are living temporarily. I want to dump some of those bitches in the Congo for a few weeks and then bring them back to reality tv and see what think is unbearable living conditions. Ya know!!
